💜 Audiopedia Volunteers are SIMPLY THE BEST!! 💜
We just published new contents about FGM in our Audiopedia translation project. FGM (female genital mutilation) involves the partial or total removal of external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons. It is carried out mostly on minors. According to WHO (World Health Organization), over 200 million girls and women alive today have suffered from FGM (mostly in Africa, the Middle East and Asia).
It took our volunteers less than 72 hours to complete translation of the new FGM contents into Arabic, Cebuan, Chinese, Indonesian, Italian, Marathi, Portuguese and Spanish! And they're already working on many other languages. Thank you so much for this great performance!! 💜

Did you know? Today, March 22nd, is Word Water Day. It was created in 1993 to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water.
That's why Audiopedia spreads information how to purify drinking water drawn from ponds, streams, unprotected springs, wells of tanks. Want to help us? Join our Movement!
March 22nd: World Water Day!
Created to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water.
Today, women around the world will spend a collective 200 million hours collecting water, says UNICEF. Like every day. Think about it for a sec when you'll open your faucet or have your next shower. And feel privileged!
